Rainbow Beach Fishing

Scott is out with Brian — Rainbow Beach local and Master of catching worms. Worms spend a good deal of time under the sand, they have a great sense of smell but once tempted by the dead fish dragged across the sand on the outgoing tide, it’s time to get your fingers ready.

Once the worms are caught it is time for a bit of beach fishing, Scott is trying his luck by using his father’s old rod and Alvey reel.
There is something very serene about beach fishing, it is almost primal, hunting for your prey, no fish finders, you’re out in the elements… looking for the signs and waiting for the twitch at the tip of your rod.
