Andrew towed the Jayco Basestation, part of the Toy Hauler range, to Rivershore Resort. Nestled on the banks of the Maroochy river, it’s a relatively new park and a good place to call home for a couple of days, plenty for kids to do and adults can relax.
Andrew got a chance to meet his neighbours for the stay: Corey, Margaux, daughters Memphis and River, sons Jagger and Wyle… The Parker Family. You might recognise Corey Parker, Queensland Legend, ex Captain of the Broncos and now Fox Sports Presenter, you can also catch Margaux on Triple M.
Corey and Margaux are often surprised by people’s reactions to them staying at Caravan Parks, but as they say “why wouldn’t they” when their Jayco van fits the family in comfort and ease, and if you haven’t done the math yet, they are a family of six. Corey grew up holidaying in caravan parks and wanted to give his own children that sense of freedom, making new friends and bringing all your toys with you.
Speaking of bringing your toys with you, Andrew’s van is half garage and half caravan… you can pack your bikes, surf boards, carts and of course your fishing rods right in the back, and you can even add more bunks – you can almost fit a footy team in there.
