Caravanning Road Trip – Agnes Water

Agnes Water sits on the coast, overlooking a stretch of ocean between Fraser Island’s tip and the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. It’s Queensland’s most northerly surf beach – and some would say, one of the best.

If you’re new to “hanging five”, Agnes Water is a great place to give surfing a go. Reef2Beach Surf School operates every day and a three hour lesson, with gear included, costs just $17.

Agnes Water Beach Holidays is a boutique holiday park where nothing but parkland separates you from the sand and surf. There are plenty of accommodation choices on offer: van and campsites plus safari tents and beach chalets overlooking the water. It’s a popular spot – so make sure you book well in advance of your holiday. You’ll find more information on Agnes Water Beach Holidays’ website.

It’s just one of many great suggestions you’ll find on the Caravanning Queensland website – the perfect place to start planning your van holiday.
