Just over the border into New South Wales is Hastings Point. It’s a great spot for the kids to learn more about the ocean with a stack of rock pools and a Marine Environment Centre just up the road at North Star Holiday Resort.
The Marine Centre is a touch and feel museum where sea life and specimens have been collected by Marine Biologist Ted Brambleby over the last 45 years of his career.
The kids will also love the water-park, indoor play area, ball pit, games room and plenty of grassy space at Big4 North Star.
Another appeal (but this time for adults!) is the van valet service, where they park your caravan for you! It’s also known as ‘the marriage-saver’…
