Garmin Sand Crabbing

As an angler, you quickly learn to work with the weather and the conditions. A full moon, full tides and recent rain make up a recipe for crabbing success.

Although the conditions are perfect, having the right gear on board certainly helps fill up the pots. Andrew teams up with Gordon Triplett from Garmin who puts his gear to good use when
crabbing.

There are plenty of inshore spots around Cleveland where you can pull in a feed of sandies so that’s exactly where they’re heading.

When crabbing in Queensland there are a number of rules and regulations you need to be
aware of. To find all the details visit the Queensland Government’s Department of Agriculture and Fisheries website.

And a tip when cooking up your sand crabs, it’s always best to cook them in the water they’ve been caught in. It’ll only add to their delicious flavor.
