Jimboomba Supercross

The Australian Supercross Championships bring dirt bike racing to the masses. Think high-flying action, loads of dirt and a whole lot of fun! Adrenaline aside, it’s also one of the most prestigious events on the Australian Motorsport Calendar.

Queensland fans will be stoked that Round 1 kicks off at the Jimboomba Supercross Stadium, in the City of Logan. Saturday 15th September will mark the fourth consecutive year that Jimboomba has hosted the event. The stadium undergoes and impressive transformation, with around 500 tonne of dirt brought in to build up the track.

Fans can catch around 200 national and international riders who will be racing it out for the titles. Defending the top spot in the 250 SX class is Springwood local, Jackson Richardson. Another young gun local to watch out for is 16-year-old, Jake Cuka who will be competing in the Junior Lites. These riders, along with many others have put in hours of sweat and hard work to make it to the championships so there’s a lot riding on the line.

Access to a Pit Party is included in your ticket purchase where you’ll have the chance to meet the riders and get up close to their racing machines.
