Scotty heads south to Northern New South Wales with Sammy Hitzke to a place called Bens Falls Retreat near Emmaville. Sammy has done this before but it’s Scotty’s first attempt at catching a Murray Cod.
They’re casting with weedless lures and purple spinner baits from BCF which are working a treat landing cod after cod along this private stretch of the Severn River.
Bens Falls Retreat has two cabins available to stay in, but you’ll need to book in advance because it’s a popular spot for anglers chasing this elusive freshwater species.
