Snapper on Plastics

There are a million and one ways to target Snapper, but Rob Smith, from Smithy’s fishing charters, has perfected the art of nabbing them on soft plastics.
Scotty heads out with Smithy and good mate Macca in tow for a crazy morning Snapper session.
Using a 1/2 oz jig head and a 5-inch soft plastic, the idea is to cast out into the current and let the lure float down, doing its own thing.
This way, when it reaches the middle of the water column, hopefully, a big Snapper will come by and crunch it!
