Where to fish on the Redlands Coast & secrets to cooking fish parmigiana

The Redlands Coast boasts approximately 335 kilometres of coastline, more than the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast combined—and some of the best fishing to be found in Moreton Bay.

Moreton Bay can be admired on sailing charters out of Raby Bay and keen fishers can enjoy a day on the water with Moreton Bay Fishing Charters.

They offer charters for experienced fishers, as well as beginners, and it’s popular for families with small kids who want to try fishing. Species encountered include snapper, mackerel, flathead, tailor, bream, mulloway, trevally and sharks.

The Redlands Coast is also home to beautiful hinterland and coastal villages, a strong heritage and beautiful islands, such as North Stradbroke Island and Peel Island.

Watch the video to see some amazing catches, plus cooking tips and tricks for fish parmigiana, inspired by an old favourite.
