It has been 25 years since Creek to Coast made its debut on Channel Seven. The official date was August 7, 1999. Since then we have brought you the best of the outdoors, covering every inch of Australia and even further afield.
25 years is a long time, particularly on TV. This has led to more than 1000 episodes. Dozens of presenters have graced the screens of Creek to Coast, and we’re lucky enough to still have two of our Season 1 team, still presenting. Scotty Hillier and Gary Howard. To celebrate, we took five of the team up to one of our favorite places in Queensland, Port Douglas. The Tropical North has certainly been a favorite haunt of the show over its tenure, so it’s fitting that we revisit it for such a celebration. Recently, we’ve had the pleasure of fishing with Nick Milford and his team from East Coast Angling. We’ve paid them visits in 2020, 2021 and this time, we thought we’d come back because they have an incredible new offering; Savannah Expeditions. MV Savannah is an 80foot dream maker. A beautiful big boat capable taking you and nine of your best mates to the reef to fulfill your most wild fishing fantasies. She’s beautifully appointed, and we can absolutely vouch for the service too. Creek to Coast doesn’t happen without the support of people like Savannah Expeditions, businesses who trust the show to tell their story and show off the absolute best they can offer. Another of these businesses is BCF. Since 2005, they have partnered with Creek to Coast, and together we have delivered incredible outdoor content for our viewers. A BIG thank you from all the team. …and finally, it’s our audiences who deserve the biggest praise. Loyally tuning in every Saturday. It’s without you that Creek to Coast simply isn’t possible. We are driven to produce the best content we can, to entertain you and it’s clear that we have been doing so for the last 25 years. Here’s to the next 25.
