The Barons are a group on Facebook about the love of all things beer. Originally started by a bunch of mates to discuss weekend drinks has turned into a group of more than 11 thousand.
Dallas Hill is one of the group’s admins, and says, over the years, they’ve seen it all. “There was actually a beer that Baccus Brewing in Capalaba did that was a mudcrab beer, chilli mudcrab beer. That was truly horrible but they know it too so it’s fine!”
Brisbane’s craft beer scene has grown exponentially in the last few years. Dozens of local breweries are doing awesome things with Hops, much like, Black Hops in East Brisbane. They are continually testing new tastes of beer, they are one of the Barons’ favourites.
