We are lucky enough in Queensland to have hundreds of camping options within an hour or so of home. Pack the car hit the road and in no time you’ll be unfolding a camp chair and cracking a beer round a fire.
One of the many gems we’ve found on our travels is Mountview Farmstay. The property dates back to 1896, when the family of owners Katrina and Ian decided to turn the beautiful patch of Toowoomba property into a cattle farm.
Nowadays the cattle are still very much part of the farmstay experience. Guests can expect to be part of day-to-day activities, as well as being able to use the beautiful old barn that Katrina has recently renovated. There are also amenities onsite, making Mountview an all-round package.
