  • TUNA STEAKS
  • REAL EGG MAYO
  • SOY SAUCE
  • GARLIC

VEG

  • BROCCOLINI + ASPARAGUS; TRIMMED
  • SESAME SEEDS AND SLICED SPRING ONIONS, TO GARNISH
  • STEAMED BROWN RICE, TO SERVE

Mix enough soy sauce into the mayo to make it the colour of milky coffee. As a rough guide, use 2-3 tsp of mayo for every tuna steak.

Mix through crushed or grated garlic, then add tuna steaks and move around to thoroughly coat fish with the marinade.

Set aside to marinate while you prepare the vegetables.

Trim stalks from asparagus and broccolini.

Pour boiling water over vegetables and set aside.

Heat up BBQ grills. Use a BBQ plate liner if preferred.

Lift fish from marinade and place onto bbq grills/liner for 2-3 minutes each side for a rare centre.

Arrange broccolini and asparagus on the bbq grills, and brush with remaining marinade while they cook and brown around the edges.

Arrange cooked tuna steaks and grilled greens on serving plates with steamed brown rice, and sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
