For nearly two decades, the National 4×4 Outdoors Show has been Brisbane’s leading event for the 4WD industry and fans of the great Australian outdoors.
This year the event will be held over the weekend of 11-13 March at the Brisbane Showgrounds. There’s a great line up of displays, events and exhibits. You can check out the schedule here so you don’t miss a minute. http://4x4show.com.au/BRI/
A Melbourne version of the event will be staged from 19-21 August. See the program here – http://4x4show.com.au/MEL/
On this week’s episode of Creek to Coast, Roothy dispelled the myth that 4WD was the domain of big, boofy blokes and spent some time at the Springs 4WD park to meet Neil Taylor and his talented daughter Emily, the driver in the extremely competitive Team Petticoat. You can meet the team and check out their awesome skills at the show.
Roothy also caught up with Warwick to chat about his family business, SLR Caravans; the go-anywhere, dirt munching, off-roaders that also double as a fully kitted-out living quarters.
Their flagship model, the SLR Commander allows you to explore more places than a caravan and is very popular for international jet-setting nomads who ship their van overseas and tour the world in adventurous comfort.
