The annual Hervey Bay Seafood Festival is rolling around soon on August 14, 2016. Andrew Mirosch will be there again this year cooking up a special menu with local seafood including some barramundi.
There are just three licensed commercial operators who fish for barramundi in the Mary River.
Kevin Greenhalgh is the fifth generation in a Hervey Bay fishing family, with his son making up the sixth. Andrew catches up with Kevin to see what goes into catching the barra we all love to eat.
