Queensland is a state made for touring – there is so much to see over both long and short distance road trips. A great way to fit it all in to one holiday is to tow a caravan and it’s Dean’s first trip doing so!
He’s on the home stretch of an epic 2 week road trip that you’ll be able to see on Creek to Coast in a couple of weeks’ time, but for now, we couldn’t resist sharing a sneak peek of the action and stop by another charming place that we couldn’t fit into the jam-packed episodes.
Jandowae is on the road between Dalby and Chinchilla. Though it’s a little way off the Warrego Highway the detour is worth it if you like country towns and a yarn with a local.
The AAOK Jandowae Accommodation Park is a great place to bed down for a few nights. Caravan sites, both powered and unpowered, sit on green fields. And cabins are available too if you haven’t got your own set up.
To see what’s on offer in the Caravan, Camping and Touring world at the moment, be sure to add the annual Supershow to your diary from June 8-13 at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
