For the third year running, the City of Logan has the thrill of hosting key events in the Australian Supercross Championships.
The best Aussie and international riders will carve up the dirt at the Jimboomba Supercross track for the first and final rounds of the national showdown.
2015 champion Dan Reardon is set to return with a vengeance, hoping to steal back the title from the Americans who snavelled it last year.
He’ll be joined by young team-mate Nathan Crawford who’s keen to supercharge his rise through the Supercross ranks at this year’s events.
Previous Supercross events at Jimboomba have drawn crowds of more than 8,000 – including 2,000 individual riders. The atmosphere is electric and family-friendly – with rides, food stalls and the opportunity for kids to get up close to their heroes and their bikes in the pits.
It’s a fantastic event for the City of Logan which is already an unofficial capital for adrenalin sports – including mountain biking at Daisy Hill and wakeboarding at Carbrook.
The first round of the 2017 Australian Supercross Championships revs onto the track at Jimboomba on the 23rd September – with the final showdown taking place on the 18th November.
