When it comes to overnight spots, your choices are endless! One option is to try Minjerribah, North Stradbroke Island. Jump the Sealink Ferry from Cleveland and in 45 minutes you’re on the island!
There are ample campsites across the island, we love the Flinders Beach camps. Waterside bliss we’d call it!
While on the island, you can of course fish, swim, paddle or drive along the beach – but if you want to come back into civilization for a sec, grab a coffee from Bo’s Beans…or maybe visit Andrew and the crew at the brand-spanking new Straddie Brewing HQ at Dunwich.
A reminder – when you do go it solo, make sure you leave your campsite the same, or even in better nick than when you arrived…and of course, check for that 10c logo on the back of any cans or bottles so you can make a bit of Containers for Change coin. Maybe put it towards your next solo getaway.
