Ewan Maddock Dam on the Sunshine Coast is tucked into the foothills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland near Landsborough.
It’s a pretty little lake, perfect for those who enjoy all things outdoors and a great starting point for a day exploring the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Rhiannon Reardon is an SEQ Water Field Ranger who loves lacing up her boots for a walk through the network of trails around the lake, ranging from short distance walks to longer 9km trails, all starting at Maddock Park.
Kayaking, fishing, horse riding and picnicking are just some of the activities the lake and surrounding lands have to offer.
Presenter Sally made good use of the picnic areas and electric BBQs to cook up some easy quesadillas for lunch.
