What are you using it for?

Like any large purchase, you want to be certain of your decision. Boats are no different. The first thing you want to consider when you’re buying, is what you’re using it for. If you just want to spend your Sunday mornings fishing your local waterways, a tinnie will probably get you by. If you’ve got five kids, you’re probably better off with something a bit bigger. Check your car’s towing capacity before you make any purchases. Consider the cost of adding a towbar if you don’t already have one.

Think about storage

If you want to store it in a dry stack at your local marina, consider the price of storage. You want to account for that as part of the ongoing cost of owning your beautiful new boat.
