Queensland: The place to be for boaties

Queensland’s got plenty of things going for it. The sunny weather, the stunning coastline and the diverse waterways. And all that makes for some seriously good boating!

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is Queensland’s premier watercraft exhibition and is the place to be for marine enthusiasts.

Wynnum Marine had their Kingfisher, Yamarin, Stacer and Cruise Craft vessels on display. Owner Johnny told Creek to Coast the best way to spend a sunny day in the sunshine state is on a boat with family, having lunch and chucking in a line. (We agree, Johnny!)

Garmin were showcasing their latest tech – every gadget you could name or want for your kayak or your super yacht was on deck.

And speaking of luxury yachts – Maritimo had the champagne popping while launching all-new Black Editions of the M55 Flybridge Motor Yacht and the M600 Offshore Flybridge Motor Yacht. Yep – they look impressive.

Jetcar had visitors doing a double take at their unique car/boat. They’ll soon launch tourism tours on the Gold Coast but you can actually buy one of these if you’re in the market.

Zilla Jet Boats also had their Australian designed and made vessels on display in all black – you should see the places these little beauties can navigate.
