Where you can camp in the Glass House Mountains

Most childhood memories can be associated with camping… particularly if you grew up in Queensland. It’s a beautiful thing to then re-create some of those memories with children of your own… which is bound to follow for generations to come.

Picking your destination is equally as important. The Glass House Mountains are a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and so much more. Mountain Surroundings is a property perched at the base of Mount Ngungun and can be booked via Hipcamp Australia’s website… essentially camping but without the crowds! Just roll out your swag and you’re good to go.

BCF’s latest range of outdoor gear also has everything you need for your next adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker, or a couple of weekend warriors, you’ll always be one step ahead. And, if you are setting about in a more remote area, their safety gear will have you covered.

Mount Ngungun is classed as a grade 4 walking track… it’s a fairly moderate climb, but it’s the views that make it one of the best. A return trip to the top takes about an hour… just be sure to know your limit and stick to the tracks! See here for more information on getting there.
