Sammy Hitzke is a Brisbane boy who knows Moreton Bay like the back of his hand.
Armed with an assortment of Z-man soft plastics from BCF, he takes Scotty to one of his favourite spots off Cape Moreton to land some snapper and grassy sweet lip.
Pink is the order of the day with a pink sunrise, pink plastics and even a pink rod for Scotty! They pull in a few nice pink snapper during the early morning tide change too.
The boys are using light gear to give a bit more sensitivity to set the hooks when the fish come past. The water is around 15-20 metres deep so they use a half ounce jig head to give their lure some weight. Check out the story below for more great tips.
