Ever wondered how sugar cane becomes sugar? Well, wonder no more.
On a recent trip up to North Queensland, Scotty stopped in to chat with Carlo Tomarchio, the driver of a cane harvester, working just outside of Brandon in the Burdekin region.
The big machines look like something out of Transformers! But behind its menacing look, there is a very intricate machine that cuts and separates sugar cane before depositing it in a bin on the back of a haul out truck just next to it.
