Dean “Dingo” Morrison is a name that will be very familiar to those of us who follow pro surfing.   

As a Gold Coast local, Dean grew up chasing some of the coast’s best breaks, which eventually took him to surf in competitions around the world. He’s regarded as one of the “Coolangatta Kids,” a group of high-profile surfing mates from the Gold Coast, including Mick Fanning and Joel Parkinson.  

Now retired, he’s turned his hand to coaching, imparting his extensive knowledge and skill to youngsters just starting out, newbies just picking up the sport or even the well-rounded board riders who are hoping to up their game.
