A girl’s getaway to Mt Tamborine

Queensland, you’re good to go! Being able to travel our great state again is a wonderful thing… there’s so much to see and do. But the hardest decision is deciding where to visit.

Olivia and her mate, Ash, headed for a girl’s weekend to Guanaba Farm – about a 30-minute drive from Tamborine. As for their digs, well that’s the Jayco Swan Camper Trailer… it’s the ideal first RV for anyone wanting to test the waters of the caravanning lifestyle!

It’s small to tow, but big to live in. Essentially, it’s camping with all the creature comforts. With setup taking only a few minutes… just wait until you see the living quarters! Yep, two queen beds and a floorplan to suit couples as well as families. In fact, it’s one of Jayco’s longest-running RVs, being the first RV to roll of the production line in 1975.

It’s also the lifestyle that comes with it… Tamborine is the perfect year-round destination. With stunning national parks and rainforest… Olivia and Ash thought they’d best hit the tracks! Set in a magical 30 acres of privately-owned rainforest, Skywalk is one of Tamborine’s drawcards… and it’s easy to see why.

And like after any good hike, a treat always goes down well. A stop by Granny Macs is a must-do when in Tamborine! They truly have the best fudge.

So, if this has you inspired to plan your next getaway, head to Brisbane Camperland to check out an RV product that’ll suit your needs! As for a private property to stay on, Youcamp is where we found Guanaba Farm.
