Since 1991, there’s been a rather special day in the Macca’s calander, one that has raised more than $61 million for families of seriously ill or injured kids.
McHappy Day is a day where all of us who love a sneaky Macca’s stop can help raise vital funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC provide accommodation for the families of seriously ill or injured children, while they are going through treatment. There are 18 homes across the country.
Every year, $2 from each Big Mac sold goes directly to RMHC. While you make it instore, there are a handful of other ways you can contribute, including buying a special set of Ronald McDonald House socks! How fun!
If you miss the day, you can always donate direct via their website.
