On Sunday April 2nd from 2:30pm, Easter EGGstravaganza is being held at Frascott Park in Varsity Lakes. It’s free to come along and there will be plenty of stuff to do for the whole family. Kid’s arts n crafts, carnival rides, live music, food and an Easter egg hunt with over 17,000 eggs to find.

Some of the campgrounds local to this area include:

  1. Ridge Campaway – Bonogin
  2. Kirra Beach Tourist Park – Coolangatta
  3. Burleigh Beach Tourist Park – Burleigh Heads

If you’re keen to get a bit more rural though here are a few other options:

  1. OZ Sky Ranch in Boyland is situated at the base of Mt Tambourine in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland and boasts an impressive 350 plus acres of beautiful countryside.
  2. Sarabah Camping in Sarabah is located on a functioning cattle farm. The property has 8 available sites all located along the upper reaches of Canungra Creek and in Lamington National Park.
  3. Crystal Creek Ranch sits right on the outskirts of Springbrook National Park and is aptly named due to the crystal clear freshwater creeks spread around the 100 acre property. The property is mostly bush with several cleared spaces for activities and campsites, the location is perfect for hiking and swimming.
