Visiting the Beautiful Poinciana Tourist Park

The Capricorn Coast is a bit of a hidden gem in Queensland’s coastal crown.

The weather – always sunny. The water – always warm. The people – always welcoming.

The town of Yeppoon itself is a great little spot to stretch out for a few day’s R&R. Many travellers will mark it on their maps as they head north to TNQ, west to Emerald and the Outback…or south on their way home.

Offshore are the beautiful Keppel islands. Gorgeous oasis’ of island relaxation, with a fistful of water sports to boot!

Further north, the beautiful Byfield National Park…untamed and unreal!

When in town, you’ve got a selection of great caravan park operators to choose from, can we recommend Poinciana Tourist Park! Voted the friendliest park in town, they boast tidy amenities, spacious powered sites and brand-new glamping tents (with an above ground pool heated all year round).

Pay them a visit next time you’re in town! Tell them we sent you.
