We were thrilled to see that Airlie Beach was recently crowned Queensland’s Top Small Tourism Town for 2023 in this year’s QTIC Top Tourism Town awards.
From the fresh to the salt…the region…as a fishery…has it all. But for those who would prefer to take it easy, there are plenty of opportunities to kick back on world-class beaches, enjoy a cocktail (or two) at any number of bars or restaurants or maybe book a tour to check out or amazing, Great Barrier Reef.
Other winners included in the Top Tourism Town awards included Caloundra, in the Top Tourism Town category, as well our western cousins, Winton in the Top Tiny Town Category.
All entrants had to create their own video submissions, so you can check them out by heading to the QTIC website linked above. Maybe it’s time to put Caloundra, Winton…or of course…Airlie Beach on your QLD travel bucket list.
